On the spot report: Your inspection report is handed to you at the end of the inspection at the house. You do not have to wait for the report, it is ready and you can review it with the inspector while you are still in the home. This is a great advantage because you can ask questions and have the inspector point out the actual issue to you in the home. This will give you great insight and understanding of any issues that are found.

If you are not able to be at the house during the inspection, the report, which is e-mail friendly, will be emailed to you within hours of the inspection.

Electronic report: Skyview Inspection Services uses a computerized reporting system which allows the inspector to enter inspection information onto a hand held device as he is going through the house. The report is then down loaded onto the inspector’s laptop computer which is set up in the house. Pictures are then added to the report and a paper copy is printed using a portable printer. It is all there in an easy to read and understand format. Each component of the house is inspected and noted in the report, which is divided into easy to follow sections. These sections contain all of the detailed information about the inspectors findings. You also get a summary page of any items that the inspector found that need attention; the summary section is great for seeing the issues all in one spot.

Digital photos: The inspector takes many digital photos while he is doing the inspection; mainly of items that are deficient, in need of repair or of special interest. The photos are downloaded and added to the report to add clarity (“a picture is worth a thousand words”). Photos will be especially useful to those clients that are unable to attend the inspection. Feel free to ask your inspector to take photos of things that you wish to see i.e. the yard, pool, garden front entry, bedrooms, window coverings or cabinets etc. We don’t mind.
